No Landscape Survives is Nick’s alias, a Montreal-based musician. He began behind the drums for indie and post rock bands.
A few years ago, he decided to set traditional instruments aside, to follow his way amound computers, telling stories while trying to tame the hardware.
His music is a diary, first lines written further from electronic designs: it all starts with a minor fact, an image, a landscape. The following is all about being the witness of one’s own trek.
“Solitude, reef, star—
To whatever’s worth the white
Anxiety of our sail.”
Mallarmé
